Visual development and illustration work for Blue Bottom Games' indie game Ostranauts. My process moved back and forth between 2D and 3D, starting with thumbnail sketches to nail down the design, then into Blender to block things out, a quick drawover to work through anything that needed resolving, then back into Blender to refine the blockout and add textures. From there, I rendered and polished, finishing with a paintover to bring in the colour, lighting and atmosphere.
