Catacombs of Paris
The catacombs needed to feel claustrophobic and ancient, so I focused on keeping the light source tight and letting the darkness do most of the heavy lifting atmospherically.

Left Back Street
A night shot environment for the show. I focused on how the moonlight behaves in a dense, narrow street at night, the way it pools, fades, and the shadow shapes, to give the scene that uneasy, shadowy energy the story calls for.

Machecoul City Streets
Another night exterior. With city streets, I was thinking about depth and scale, using the lighting to pull the eye through the scene and give a sense of a world that extends beyond the frame.
